The Digital Marketing Festival was a phenomenal online event that brought together the sport, physical activity, fitness, and leisure sector in a ground-breaking virtual experience. As the first-ever online festival of its kind, it delivered those coveted festival vibes right to your screens.

We understood the challenges faced by businesses, groups, and clubs in navigating the world of digital marketing. It often feels like being thrown into the deep end, trying to find your voice and showcase your uniqueness amidst a sea of competitors. And let's not forget the overwhelming technology, budgets, time constraints, engagement strategies, and never-ending metrics. It's enough to make anyone feel lonely, scared, and frustrated. But fear not! The Digital Marketing Festival came to the rescue, offering the perfect remedy to help you find your digital marketing mojo. Alison Battisby
- Headliner 24th April 11am

Alison Battisby is an international social media speaker and consultant, with over 14 years of social media marketing experience. Alison has been involved in some ground-breaking social media projects for brands including Heineken, Tesco, Estee Lauder and Hyatt Hotels as well as a range of start-ups and growing enterprises. Alison founded Avocado Social in 2014 and is an accredited trainer by Facebook and Instagram. She teaches, creates, and consults on the latest social media marketing strategies. 

Oli Patrick

Oli Patrick is a leading expert in lifestyle management and a renowned physiologist who runs a wellbeing consultancy service and has founded an industry-specific education platform to drive practical coaching skills in the broader undervalued areas of lifestyle, including stress, sleep, toxicity, and mindset. As a serial entrepreneur and founder with vast experience in the field of lifestyle management, Oliver is set to share his story of navigating the world of digital marketing and growing your personal brand.

Ivo Gormley

Ivo Gormley is the founder and Chief Executive of GoodGym - a social enterprise that combines exercise with social good. It has grown to be a movement of 20,000 people in 59 cities and boroughs. He is a 2020 winner of the Cambridge Social Innovation Prize and advised on user participation for technology startups in UK and the US. He directed the film "Us Now", a documentary about participatory culture which was translated into 24 languages and his film The Runners was watched by millions online.

Preeti Shetty

Preeti is the CEO of Upshot, a social enterprise that helps non profits manage, monitor and evidence the community work they deliver. Preeti focuses her efforts on proving the difference charities can makes to people’s lives and communities through impact measurement and evaluation. Built in 2012 by the Football Foundation, Upshot is now used by over 1000 organizations across the UK and internationally.

Preeti has worked in the social change space for over 10 years, starting off at the BBC and working for various national and international NGOs and brands. A well-respected figure particularly in the sport for development space, Preeti was named one of The Sport Industry Group Next Generation Leaders in Sport, is an Independent Director of London Sport Trading and Brentford Football Club, is the Vice Chair of Street Child United, sits on the Women in Football Board Committee.

Mollie and Rosie Kmita are identical twins and former professional footballers. They now appear regularly as sports presenters, hosting their own segment on Soccer AM ‘Kicking it with the Kmitas’ alongside presenting Sky Sports Snapchat show, ‘The Dub’ and appearing regularly on Sky Sports News.

Away from presenting the twins are founders of The Powerhouse Project – an initiative which aims to empower the next generation of female leaders in Sport.

Daisy Domenghini

Daisy has been Managing Director of VaynerMedia EMEA since September 2022. Throughout her career she managed work across multiple disciplines from CRM through to ATL for some of the world’s biggest brands, including E.ON, News UK, Santander, Tripadvisor, Jagermeister and Red Bull.

Her personal ambitions as head of the agency are “to create an environment where people thrive and leave knowing more than when they started, setting them up for future success. Sean has 12 years of experience creating teams and building communities in academia, charities, elite sport, coach development and physical activity. His focus is on supporting people to unlock their potential as leaders, coaches, sports practitioners and human beings through play and authenticity.

George Sheldon

Nothing, attending is completely free, thanks to funding from Sport England and the National Lottery.

How do I get my place to attend?

Go to https://community.cimspa.co.uk and complete the registration form which will give you full access to the Digital Marketing Hub and the full Digital Marketing Festival line up, sessions and activities.

Where is the festival?

The Digital Marketing Festival is being provided as an online experience using the Digital Marketing Hub community platform and App, combined with online sessions, meet & greets and a range of networking opportunities. When you register for the Festival you will also register for the Digital Marketing Hub and get immediate access to the community platform.

Do I have to attend all sessions and activities?

No, you can choose to attend only those sessions and activities that you want to.

I’m not available for the Headline sessions I’d like to attend. What can I do?

All Headline sessions will be recorded and made available for you to watch back in the Digital Marketing Hub. You will be able to join the conversation, discuss and share with others whatever time you are available.
